Terms of Service

01Acceptance of terms

By installing, accessing, or using DreamCatcher, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) and that you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and SBM Development SRL.

02Licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to download and use DreamCatcher on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms and the Apple App Store Terms of Service.

03Your content

The dreams, notes, tags, and other material you create in the app ("Your Content") belong to you. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

• Your Content is stored on your device and, if you enable it, synced through your own iCloud account.
• You are responsible for Your Content and for keeping your device and backups secure.
• We do not monitor, moderate, or access the contents of your journal.

04AI & interpretation

DreamCatcher can generate symbolic interpretations and reflective prompts using artificial intelligence, when you request them. You understand and agree that:

• Interpretations are generated content offered for reflection and entertainment. They are not facts, predictions, or professional advice.
• AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected, and should not be relied upon as medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
• If you have concerns about your mental or physical health, consult a qualified professional. DreamCatcher is not a substitute for professional care.
• Requesting an interpretation transmits the relevant dream text to our AI provider for processing, as described in the Privacy Policy.

05Subscriptions & payments

DreamCatcher offers a free tier and an optional paid subscription ("Pro"). Pricing is shown in the app before purchase.

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account. Payment is charged on confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable; refund requests are handled by Apple under its policies.
• We may change subscription pricing or features on a prospective basis, with notice where required.

06Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except where permitted by law.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the app or its related systems.
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the app without our written permission.

07Intellectual property

The app, including its design, software, branding, and the DreamCatcher name and logo, is owned by SBM Development SRL and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our trademarks or brand beyond the limited licence to use the app.

08Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that interpretations will meet your expectations.

09Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SBM Development SRL shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under applicable law.

10Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.

11Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence. Disputes shall be subject to the competent courts of Romania, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
